How 99 across the board gives you away

Player cards and post-match reports carry the true numbers, and nothing reads as fast as a 99-everything build. Max every stat and the card tells the whole story to anyone who opens your squad after the whistle. Play beneath your numbers and it gets worse: a 99 Shooting striker who skies every long shot, or a 99 Defending centre-back who marks nobody, looks like exactly what it is. Park the stats you genuinely use in the believable band and let the build keep a couple of honest weak spots.

Spreads in the 90 to 94 band that read real

Start from the role you truly play in FUT, Seasons or Pro Clubs, then spend where that role lives. A playmaking midfielder has no use for 85 Defending. A target striker gains nothing from 92 Pace in a hold-up game. Put the core of your play between 90 and 93, hold the secondary stats around the low-to-mid 80s, and keep two or three stats down in the 70s so the shape stays believable.

Three presets worth trying

Think of them as first drafts. Load one, run a few matches, adjust from there. Set the exact numbers on the 99 stat sliders, which run 0 to 99; every real stat is there, from Pace and Shooting through Passing, Dribbling, Defending and Physical.

• Playmaking winger: Pace 93, Shooting 88, Dribbling 94, Passing 90, Weak Foot 5, Skill Moves 5, the rest of the core held in the low 80s, Defending left honest.
• Poacher striker: Shooting 94, Pace 91, Physical 88, Dribbling 84, Passing 80, Defending 60. A penalty-box finisher who lives on the last shoulder and lets Defending sit low.
• Ball-winning midfielder: Defending 90, Physical 87, Passing 86, Pace 84, Shooting 78, Dribbling 82. A box-to-box build that shuts down playmakers and still starts attacks.

Which PlayStyles+ fit which build

PlayStyles+ ought to back up the same role, never fight it. A striker gets more from Finesse Shot+ and Power Header+ than anything else. Wingers pair Tiki Taka+ with their dribbling and passing work. Deep playmakers run Incisive Pass+, ball-winners stack Block+ and Anticipate+, and a target man leans on Aerial+. The Silver PlayStyles tab keeps the smaller upgrades apart: those layer onto a config instead of overwriting it.

The honest part: stats lift your ceiling, not your control

No cheat is completely risk-free. EA's anti-cheat is live and players do get reported, so open the status page once every patch lands. On the pitch, edited stats still play through real in-game timing and consistency: a 91 Shooting rewards a clean, well-timed finish, and a 95 Dribbling still punishes careless touches under pressure. Cards and reports surface the stats, so the build that survives is the one that reads earned, and that means playing to the spread you set.
